Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), India                                            01/17/2013 - 04/10/2013

•       Designed, configured and troubleshot two networks with different subnets having IPv4 addresses using OSPF, RIP and EIGRP protocols.

•       Worked on the problem of extinct IPv4 addresses and learned about the IPv6 addresses and its transition from IPv4 to IPv6.

•       Implemented the IPv6 addresses between the two networks and migrated the networks to IPv6 using dual-stack and translation process.

 

Projects

Understanding MPLS label switching        

To build a topology and use OSPF protocol for end-to-end visibility of network. Enable MPLS on all router Interfaces and observe label switching using show and trace route commands

 

Configuring and Troubleshooting labs for OSPF, NAT, Access List, VLANs and EIGRP

Created a network and practiced the configuration of routing protocols like OPSF, EIGRP along with that implemented Access-lists NAT and VLANs.

 

Graduate Coursework Study: Voice over LTE using IMS.

Studied the technology behind VoLTE using IMS Prospects of deploying LTE technology in an end to end service for HD voice Explaining the need to improve the QoS over IP networks. Studied the SIP protocol used in IMS and also the call flow process in VoLTE.

 

Understanding of Cloud Center and its Integration with Cisco ACI

I studied the Cloud Center with Cisco ACI and the joint solution of Cloud Center with Cisco ACI. Cloud Center’s architectural exibility combined with ACI’s comprehensive SDN framework. With Cloud Center application-centric management and ACI as the policy enforcement engines, simple or complex applications can be deployed in their entirely within minutes.
